Description
Art stamp on half-title page. No marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers. Lowest 2 cm of spine strip missing. A clean very tight copy with unmarked boards, dusty page edges and no bumping to corners. Tucked in are (1) signed 'Good Wishes' slip of same format as book, (2) a number of old small newspaper cuttings. 64pp. John Ruskin's thoughts on literature, painting, the Queen's gardens, architecture, drawing, laws and government. Illustrations after J.M.W.Turner. Undated, signed slip dated 1917. Scarce.
