Marco Evangelista al Campidoglio ove ancora si trovano, la testa invece è stata tumulata in tabernacolo all'Abbazia di S. Salvatore. È patrono di Abbadia San Salvatore (Siena) e la sua festa ricorre il 7 ottobre).
