Sacha Guitry (1885- 1957) was a French stage actor, film actor, director, screenwriter, and playwright of the Boulevard theatre. Born in Russia, he began his acting career at age 5. He worked all of his professional life in France where he wrote over 120 plays, directed 33 movies, and maintained a heavy performance schedule. The sale contained 820 lots.
