Description
No marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers or to spine. A very clean crisp very tight copy with bright unmarked boards and no bumping to corners. 63pp. John Lee was found guilty in 1885 of the vicious murder of his employer and sentenced to be hanged whilst always protesting his innocence. The case became famous because the hangman three times failed to hang the unfortunate Lee so he was taken from the scaffold and served twenty two years in prison. This book shows that Lee was in fact innocent and it reveals the true perpetrator of the crime.
