ABOUT THE BOOK Volume - I The book entitled National Integration/ Social Unification consists of sixteen chapters. Society and Nation throws light on social foundation which sustains structure of other institutions including nation.India as a super power anticipates the resources and prospects of India to become a world power challenging the other contestants in the world. Nation building is a developmental mobility of a nation. As India is primarily rural economy its basic source of food and income is Agriculture, which needs to be urbanized as conceived in chapter four. Dr. Ambedkar's contributions to the country and his personal achievements are highlighted in the next chapter namely personal qualification. Ambedkarism is a new philosophy for construction of New India. Country's minorities are treated as the integral forces for wholesome development of India as the largest democracy of the world. The constitution of India is a socio-economic-educo-national document as stressed in the eighth chapter. Half the world is described under the category of women. Law Minister, the tenth chapter, delineates on the legal aspects of the polity exercised and formulated by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Marginality expounds status and needs of the marginal sections of the society. Nation is presented as a force in relation to its strength in a particular set-up of the country. Labouris the orientation of the economy in contrast to its being capital intensive. Mobility leads to change of occupation, income, standards of life from old to a new patterns of association. Educational thought is vital in determining the direction wither the country heads through its national policies on this aspect. The last but not the least chapter is deprivation which examines and criticizes the suffering of the population owing to various and a number of needs, wants and urgencies to be met with unsatisfactorily by the hands which hold the reins of the political power. Volume - II The book entitled Sprit of Universal Brotherhood / Social Unification is a volume comprising seventeen chapters in almost 325 pages. They are presented in this form to promote the universal spirit of fraternity among the world citizens. 1. Globalization is conducive to this and it acts as catalyst in that interaction. 2. Islam like Buddhism had learning centres like Bukhara,Baghadad etc., which was another Bihara or Monastery like Nalanda Universityin Bihara State, India. 3. Social justice is a reformed phase of political life in service of righteousness in legal terms. The present status of every polity with its subject is challenged by a kind of 7. Terrorism as anti-social element. 8. There is a path to combat this challenge. 9. Right kind of philosophy is complementary to righteousness. 10. Hermeneutics is another science of interpretation of the deeper and wider side of universal Buddhist philosophy, call it a Sahajayana or 11. Tantrayana. 12. Engaged Buddhism is another social activism of the groups connected with such network. It may be designated as 13. social Buddhism also. These days theist religions confront with modern outlook of 14. science and technology. During the teaching career of the author of this line he had proposed why the national institute like 15. BANISS be promoted to the University. Dr. Ambedkar Chair is established in the major Government Universities of India and abroad, which presuppose the knowledge of the 16. important dates of his life as historiography as well as 17. pilgrimages evolved by the contemporary Government after the sites associated with birth, education, works and important events in the life of the father of the Constitution of India.
