Description
This is a very good hardcover copy in beige rough linen cloth covers with the title printed in brown on the front cover. Very clean and fresh inside and out. This is the second volume of Scottish Quaichs. This is a limited edition which has been numbered and signed by the author on the colophon. Also two signed inscriptions from the author on the front endpaper, dated 1968 and 1979 as the volume was given to an instution by the original reicipient. Text by McClenahan describes the history of Scottish drinking vessels made of various materials like wood, horn and silver. Illustrated in black & white with photographs of the vessels. Errata slip laid in. 10" high X 8" wide, 37 pages. This book will be securely packed and shipped with tracking.
