4to., Third Impression, with many hundreds of photographs and detailed drawings in the text, and fine coloured pictorial endpapers illustrating 140 variants of the aircraft; terracotta cloth, upper board and backstrip lettered in gilt, a near fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper. Morgan and Shacklady's definitive history of the most famous fighter in aviation history was first published in 1987.
