Roy. 8vo., First Edition, with frontispiece, title in red and black, with numerous plates, some light and inoffensive spotting, small neat contemporary signature on front free endpaper; blue cloth, upper board and backstrip lettered in gilt, expertly recased, a very good, bright, clean copy. This title in found more often in green cloth. Having climbed extensively in the Alps, the author was killed in a climbing accident on Tryfan. Neate 232.
