Marbled endpapers. = Two detailed, complete monographs, illustrated by the French entomologist Eugène Barthe (1892-1940) and mostly written by the lawyer and member of the French entomological society, Maurice Gilbert Perrot Des Gozis (1852?-1909). A chapter titled Notes complémentaires, occupying pp. 237-248 of the first work, and Kotes [SIC! = Notes] complémentaire on pp. 204-215 of the second work, were written by Barthe. Published in the series, Miscellanea Entomologica (founded and edited by Barthe), volume 18(12) and irregularly numbered subsequent sections up to volume 25(1). Nicely bound. Very good, clean. Rare.
