Original 1/4 leather bdg. with five compartments in spine. Gilt spine fully and traditionally. 16mo. (14 x 10 cm) In Ottoman script. 718 p. Only volume one. Hegira: 1308 = Gregorian: 1891. Husain al-Jisr was particularly interested in the religion-science and materialist claims. 'Hamidiyye' has been written by him about this issue. This work made him an important position in the eyes of Sultan II. Abdulhamid and the Islamic ulama (scholars). Not in Özege. Not found in OCLC. First and Only Edition. Set is 4 volumes. This is the first volume of set.
