This is a very good softcover set of both volumes of this two part auction held at Sotheby's London from March 14-20, 2008. The first volume is titled 'The Selling Exhibition'. The second volume is titled 'The Auction'. 'Selling Exhibition' volume has, minor scuffing to cover. 'Auction' volume has a soft crease to the back cover top corner affecting a few back pages. Completely clean inside and out. Short introductory texts by Paul Reeves, Mary Greensted, Linda Parry and Matthew Williams. The sale comprised the collections of Paul Reeves and his Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum. The collection was very strong in British Arts & Crafts material. The first volume 'The Selling Exhibion' 134 works from Paul Reeves's collections on view. The second volume 'The Auction" had 131 lots. All works illustrated in color, one fold-out. Prices realized sheet and the Price List for 'The Selling Exhibition" laid in. 11" high X 8" wide, 164 & 216 pages.This book will be securely packed and shipped with tracking.
