London, The Zoological Society of London, 1905. 8vo. 48 [45, 3] pp., two finely engraved plates. Original printed wrappers. = The first paper is a large, interesting account on the distribution of the Mexican reptiles and the factors that inhibit their distribution, including climate, altitude, etc. The second paper, with detailed descriptions of the new species, is by G. A. Boulenger. With the latter, a second paper is included, titled On a collection of batrachians and reptiles made in South Africa by Mr. C. H. B. Grant, and presented to the British Museum by Mr. C. D. Rudd. (six pp., including new taxa). Finally, a paper of 15 pp. is included, titled Some notes upon the anatomy of the yellow-throated lizard, Gerrhosaurus flavigularis, which was written by F. E. Beddard, and contains some text illustrations referring to the anatomy of this African lizard. All contained and subsequently published in the Society's Proceedings 1905(II)(1) with the wrappers of that issue. Wrappers browned and chipped, contents good, clean. Rare.
