Ex Midland Railway Institute Library with usual marks and stamps. Finger marks to a few pages. No creasing to covers. Mainly clean lightly tanned pages with missing front end paper and slight rubbing/bumping to maroon boards with clear gilt lettering. 118pp. This treatise on economics was respected and translated into a number of languages in the early 18th century. The author purchased (!) a Parliamentary seat in 1819.
