This is a fine hardcover copy with a very good dust jacket. The jacket rear panel a bit rubbed, light edge wear. Completely clean inside and out. SIGNED by the photographer, Louise Abbott, on the title-page, just above her printed name. Not inscribed to anyone just signed. Additionally signed by five officers of Waterous & Company who sponsored the book. Limited edition of 500 signed and numbered copies. This is copy no. 156/500. Illustrated throughout in black & white with reproductions of Louise Abbott's photographs of the proud culture that has survived on Newfoundland's eastern shore: Port-au-Port, Peninsula for one hundred and fifty years.
