Otherwise a very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked tape-free boards, missing front end paper and minor bumping to upper corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn with light creasing around spine ends. 188pp. The dramatic story of the challenge set by the Commonwealth coverment in 1919 which offered a sum of ú10,000 for the first successful flight to Australia from Great Britain in a machine manned by Australians.
