8vo., First Edition, with 8 plates, 7 diagrams in the text, a folding chart, plus the portfolio of 7 large folding coloured maps on japon in pocket et end; strongly bound in blue buckram, gilt back, gilt from original front board preserved and mounted on new leaf at front, a very good, bright, clean copy. With 4pp publisher's catalogue bound in at end. The portfolio of seven maps, originally provided in a separate wallet, is nearly always missing. Very scarce in this condition.
