8vo., First Edition, with portrait frontispiece and plates; elegantly bound in dark red full crushed morocco, sides with gilt frame border, upper board latter in gilt, ORIGINAL PICTORIAL WRAPPERS PRESERVED), a splendid copy ideal as a gift or for presentation. The unit became the regiment's 1st Volunteer Battalion in 1885 and its 4th Battalion (the conversion) in 1908. Includes many valuable photographs. RARE. Not recorded by Sutcliffe or White.
