8vo., with many musical notations in the text, small neat signature on front free endpaper; dark blue cloth, gilt back, covers very lightly age-faded else a very good, bright, clean copy. Published in the series 'Handbooks for Musicians' edited by Ernest Newman. This is a larger and more elegant edition than the usual Novello 1946 edition, but we can find no institutional record for it.
