Description
Ten volumes of The Masters (gallery of painters) in slipcase. No marks or inscriptions. No creasing to most covers. Ten very clean very tight copies with bright unmarked boards and slightly oversized covers. Volumes 6, 10, 3, 1, 7, 9, 8 are near fine. Volumes 4 (small nick to fore-edge), 2 (bump to spine ends) are very good. Volume 5 (bump to spine top/rubbing to upper edge) is good. Faux leather slipcase in very good condition. 10 x 16 plates/8 pages text. pp. Volumes 1-10 are (in order) Goya, Vermeer, Canaletto, Botticelli, Hals, Blake, Poussin, Toulouse-Lautrec, El Greco and Tiepolo. A heavy set.
