Description
In 4° (cm 13,4 x 21,2), magnifica legatura in “nero ecclesiastico” con fregi a secco rilevati: cornice a motivi curvilinei racchiude rombi al centro dei piatti, dorso a minuscoli rombi e fasci di filettature, titolo in oro. Oltre che aggraziata, la legatura è veramente in eccellenti condizioni, per nulla consunta. Pp non numerate (228). Alla sguardia, dedica manoscritta datata 8 ottobre 1855. Internamente, buone condizioni: lievi bruniture dovute alla qualità della carta, ed a un fiore essiccato. Esemplare assai curato: la carta marmorizzata delle sguardie riproduce la stessa fantasia e tonalità di ocra e nero dei tagli . Testo su due colonne, in inglese; caratteri grandi ed ariosi.
