Description
8vo., with portrait frontispiece, plate and several facsimiles of title-pages, small neat signature on front free endpaper; original blue faux-morocco, upper board framed and lettered in gilt, gilt back, gilt top, a near fine copy in glassine dustwrapper, the whole housed in publisher's original mailing-case, the latter cracked at edges. Buxton Forman's famous edition (first published in 1908) contains the whole of Keats's known works in verse; the footnotes contain a large selection of variorum readings. Sixteen lines of the 'The Eve of St. Mark', found by the Editor in a scrap-book lent to him by Frank Sabin, have not been printed in any other edition.
