8vo., First Edition, with a portrait frontispiece, numerous coloured and monochrome plates, and pictorial endpapers; handsomely bound in navy blue full morocco, back gilt with five raised bands, second and fourth compartments lettered and ruled in gilt, all other compartments tooled and ruled in gilt, pictorial endpapers mounted on new leaves at front, a most attractive copy ideal as a gift or for presentation. A lovely copy of a scarce work, still the best account to the end of WWII. Law, 1468.
