No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked gilt embossed purple cloth boards, very slight foxing and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased with slight nicks to upper and lower edges. 223pp. An account of Britain from the 5th century to the Norman Conquest. The Angles and Saxons from across the North Sea initially took the country, then fought amongst themselves and later fought for survival against the incoming Vikings. Illustrated.
