8vo., with an engraved portrait frontispiece (original tissue guard present) and 4 engraved plates (original tissue guards present), small neat signature on front free endpaper, some light spotting to plates; original mid-brown cloth, sides elaborately blocked in gilt and blind, gilt back, buff endpapers, uncut, very neatly recased, a very good, clean copy. With 8pp publisher's catalogue bound in at end. The frontispiece is engraved by Greatbach after Gilbert, the plates by Greatbach after Gilbert. A remarkably bright, clean copy in sympathetically restored publisher's binding.
