Clean tight pages with slightly ink marked well rubbed boards and spine and with some tears to covers and spine ends. 30 pages of advertisements plus 110pp. Published to celebrate the opening of the Mersey Tunnel in 1934 by His Majesty King George V, whose full page photograph opens the book. With photographs of the engineering works and construction processes, plans and the persons involved in designing and commissioning the project. Scarce.
