8vo., First Edition, with 16 fine chromolithographed plates by Macfarlane, free endpapers mildly browned; original blue cloth, upper board and backstrip lettered in gilt, an unusually bright, clean copy. A key account. Boyle was commissioned by Robert Measures to catalogue and describe the orchid collection at The Woodlands, his estate at Streatham in south-west London. VERY SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION.
