Boards with light wear to extremities; Original owner's signature and note in front free endpaper (Edwin Talbott Thayer) A letter is tipped in from Vincent Price (signed 'Vincent') to Thayer for his contribution to the show they were in. Since neither man is mentioned in this volume, it must have been a show from a previous year. But the '48-'49 season was a good one all the same, with 'Death of a Salesman' and 'Anne of the Thousand Days' opening, and 'A Streetcar Named Desire' and 'Born Yesterday' held over.
