Una princesita. La escritora británico-americana Frances Hodgson Burnett (1849-1924) se ha convertido con el paso del tiempo en todo un clásico de la literatura infantil y juvenil, gracias sobre todo a tres obras: El jardín secreto (1911), El pequeño Lord (1886), editada ya en esta misma colección y la historia de Sara Crewe, Una princesita (1905). Las tres han sido traducidas a multitud de idiomas y han dado lugar a exitosas versiones cinematográficas a lo largo de todo el último siglo. De Una princesita se hizo una adaptación al cine en 1939 protagonizada por Shirley Temple, también una serie de televisión animada en 1985, y en 1995 el cineasta mexicano Alfonso Cuarón, director de Harry Potter, Gravity o Roma, dirigió la película La
