In-8 p. (mm. 230 x 150), cartonato mod., titolo oro su tassello al dorso, conserv. cop. orig., pp. VIII,424, con 200 illustrazioni (foto e disegni) nel testo, eseguite dall'A. "Prima traduzione francese". Resoconto della grande spedizione polare del "Fram" (1893-96) guidata dall'esploratore, scienziato e filantropo Nansen che raggiunse (7 aprile 1895) la latitudine di 86° 13', la massima raggiunta fino allora. Ben conservato.
