Description
This is a very good hardcover copy with an almost very good dust jacket. The front panel is very good, the rear panel also, but the white spine is missing pieces at each end, now repaired, not affecting the title. Dust jacket now in a protective mylar cover. Completely clean inside and out. Text in French. Massive standard monograph on Victor Horta (1861- 1947) one of the most important art nouveau architects and designers in Europe. He influenced Hector Guimard, and was one of the first designers to introduce this style to architecture. 413 illustrations in black & white and color. Fold-out list of the illustrations has a bit of creasing. The large tan card 'Illustrations Hors Texte' is attached by a red silk cord. 12" high X 10" wide, 413 pages. Large heavy book, foreign shipping will be extra. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
