Description
No unintentional marks or inscriptions (see below). No creasing to covers or to spine. A clean tight copy with red cloth damp marked boards (no effect on contents), slight rubbing to spine ends and no bumping to corners. All photographic plates present. 104pp. Contains a few notes obviously made by someone who was in the Manchester Battalion on active service, eg. the frontispiece shows the Officers in August 1914 and those who were killed in action have been indicated in ink. Very scarce.
