Volume in 8 in brossura, titolo al tassello al dorso, occhiello (vecchio timbro), frontespizio, prefazione, VI, 108 pp. Seconda edizione, aumentata, di una delle famose opere dovute al noto prete e teologo, originario di Limoge, prolifico autore giansenista, emigrato in Inghilterra torn in francia nel 1801, dove rifiutato un vescovado, fu nominato censore reale e pot dedicarsi alla stesura delle sue opere. La presente usc in prima edizione nel 1803. In bello stato di conservazione fioriture e lievi arrossature dovute al tipo di carta, qualche orecchia ma nel complesso in pi che buono stato di conservazione. Curioso e particolare saggio, assai scarsamente reperibile.
