Veduta di Amalfi presa da sud. Un paesaggio circolare con figure, su un sentiero di scogliera murato che conduce sotto un edificio accanto a due alberi a sinistra, affacciato su acque calme con barche a destra; illustrazione da "The Art Journal". Deriva da un dipinto di George Edwards Hering (1805-79), “La costa di Amalfi” oggi nella Royal Collection [RCIN 404826]. Acquaforte e bulino, 1856, scritta sotto l'immagine con titolo, "from the picture in the royal collection", seguito dalle firme: "G. E. Hering Pinxt.", "E. Goodall Sculpt". Bella colorazione successiva, ottimo stato di conservazione.
