La malattia del Papa. Una forma acuta di gastrite ha causato gravi preoccupazioni per la salute del Santo Padre, a cui la tarda età e l'impossibilità di prendere cibo hanno reso ancora più fastidioso il male. Piazza San Pietro è stata meta costante di fedeli che andavano a pregare per la salute del Pontefice sotto le finestre della sua stanza in Vaticano (Walter Molino)
