Grande carta dell'Europa circondata da 17 vignette che raffigurano i momenti salienti della storia d'Europa (Fondation de Rome, Fondation de Venise, Fondation de la monarchie polonoise, etc.). Sulla mappa si vede anche la rotta de Capitano Cook in 1768 e 1769, e il suo ritorno nel 1775. Tutte le vignette sono accompagnate da un testo espicativo sotto. In discrete condizioni, nonostante restauri e piccole mancanze, montata su tela moderna con bastoni. Divisa in stacchi perché precedentemente ripiegata. It's surrounded by 17 vignettes illustrating the history of Europe (Fondation de Rome, Fondation de Venise, Fondation de la monarchie polonoise, etc.). On the map the route of Captain Cook in 1768 and 1769, and his retour 1775. All vignettes are explained by text beneath. The map was printed just before the french revolution and shows Europe dominated by kings. In fairly good condition, mounted on modern linen with wooden sticks, toned and restored with some loss, originally folded and dissected.
