Si trasferisce, nel 1989, i suoi locali nei 500 mq dei sottopassaggi della ex Galleria Colonna oggi Galleria Alberto Sordi, allestendoli con vetrine contenenti incunaboli, libri di pregio, libri antichi, carte geografiche, incisioni, stampe e quadri preziosi.
Discorso storico sopra l'Impero d'Occidente in seguito a Carlo Magno.
