Molto pi che un semplice manuale di frutticoltura, questo libro descrive accuratamente ed in modo approfondito, centinaia di variet diverse di frutta, occupandosi della struttura, delle funzioni o delle esigenze di coltivazione di ogni singola specie: piante da frutto a granella, con un solo nocciolo, con pi noccioli, con frutto a bacca, piante esotiche, da bosco commestibili, ecc. insegnandone i metodi di coltivazione e di cura, malattie e rimedi, il tutto integrato da molte e belle incisioni n.t. Lievi mende alla legatura e cerniera anteriore un po' debole. Interessante, piacevole e poco comune.
